Elementary Registration

Welcome! To find out more information about our schools in Acton and Boxborough, read the Grade K-6 Handbook.

Once you are settled in Acton or Boxborough and are ready to pre-register your children for school, follow these steps:

  1. Gather your required documents (listed on the right).
  2. Pre-register to create an online account and upload the required documents. 
  3. Contact the registrar upon completion of the online pre-registration to set up a meeting.
If you can't upload the documents during pre-registration or have questions, please email them to registrar@abschools.org or FAX to 978-264-3331.

Extended Day Program

The district offers before and after school care for children in grades K-6 at all of our elementary schools and at the Admininstration Building. Hours of operations are: 
~Before school - 7:00am - 8:50am
~After school    - 3:20pm - 6:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
                        12:50pm - 6:00pm Wednesday

Free and Reduced Meals

Acton-Boxborough Regional Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. To learn more about this program, please visit the Food Services webpage.

Documentation

These documents are required as a part of the pre-registration process.

  • Proof of Residency Affidavit
  • Proof of Residency—One item from each column on the affidavit: A, B and C. (If you are unable to provide an item from column B because you just moved to town, you can bring it later.)
  • Student birth certificate
  • Medical Records (from your family doctor) including:

All medical records, both physical and immunization records, are the responsibility of the parent to be translated into English by a medical professional.

  • A copy of the last IEP (Individual Education Plan) if the child has special need (learning disabilities)
