2017-2018 Registration News

  • Read the Kindergarten Handbook to find out about 2017-2018 kindergarten registration and an introduction to the AB schools.

  • Kindergarten Registration opens January 11 (see below). To register for kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2017

2017-2018 All Day Kindergarten Registration (after the lottery) 

If you receive notification after the lottery that your child has been accepted in All Day Kindergarten (ADK), return this All Day Kindergarten commitment form with the $450 June deposit. You can email this form to registrar@abschools.org if you make the deposit online. The deposit is due by May 15, 2017 to retain the space.

Please do not send the deposit or form unless you receive confirmation of placement in ADK from the registrar. 

You can upload documents during the pre-registration process to the website. The check list of documents is to the right. New families must bring original documentation to complete the registration process by attending one of the onsite registration times. Families who have students already attending Acton-Boxborough do not need to attend if they uploaded all the required documentation.

2017-2018 Kindergarten Transportation Form

Use the Kindergarten Transportation form to let us know where the bus should pick up and drop off your child each day including AM sessions, PM sessions and all-day kindergarten (ADK). This form also lets you opt out of bus transportation. Please return the completed form by FAX (978-264-3344) or mail to:

2017–2018 Kindergarten Registration

Welcome! Once you are settled in Acton or Boxborough and are ready to pre-register your children for school, follow these steps:

  1. Gather your required documents.
  2. Click the pre-register button to create an online account and upload the required documents.

  3. Contact the registrar upon completion of the online pre-registration to set up a meeting.
If you are unable to upload the documents during pre-registration or have questions, please email them to registrar@abschools.org or FAX to 978-264-4700 ext. 3310.

Required Documentation

Required documents to be uploaded and brought to the registrar: 
  • Child’s birth certificate 
  • Proof of Residence Affidavit 
  • Purchase & Sale or Lease document (Include page with agreement between both parties, address and page with signatures from both parties.) 
  • Utility Bill 
  • Parent’s photo ID 
  • Certificate of Immunization and recent Health Record

This additional form is used for Kindergarten Registration. Please have your Early Childhood program complete this Pre-kindergarten Assessment Form.
