Introducing BusRight: Real-Time School Bus Tracking & Alerts

BusRight brings real-time school bus tracking and enhanced communication directly to your fingertips. With the BusRight app, parents, students, and school administrators can:

• Track the bus in real time and receive precise ETA’s so you know exactly when your child arrives or departs.
• Get timely notifications about delays, route changes, or when your child boards or exits the bus.

Important Notes About BusRight

After logging in, you may occasionally notice that a bus appears “offline.” This does not necessarily mean that the bus route is not operating. Common reasons include:

• The bus has completed its route and is parked at the bus lot with the engine off.

• A substitute vehicle is being used that is not currently equipped with BusRight’s GPS tracking system.

• The vehicle’s GPS system is temporarily offline due to technical issues.

• If a route does not appear in your list, your student may not be assigned to that stop in the BusRight system. Please email the AB Transportation Department at for assistance.

Please also note that for routes not yet fully launched in BusRight, you may see bus locations in the app; however, these may not be accurate until the route officially goes live.
